Dan Raviv

Dan Raviv (* 1954 in New York City ) is an American journalist and author .

Life

Raviv graduated from Harvard University . In 1974 he went to CBS's WEEI news channel in Boston , Massachusetts before moving to WCBS Newsradio in New York City in 1976 and then to the CBS news center.

Raviv was a foreign correspondent in the offices of CBS from 1978, first in Tel Aviv , Israel until 1980 and then as a radio reporter in the London office for twelve years . From there he reported from time to time on CBS television. From 1993 to 1997, he was based in Miami , Florida . Since 1997 he has been the US correspondent for the CBS News radio service in Washington, DC

Raviv is married and has two grown children. Together with Yossi Melman , he wrote three books on the Israeli secret service Mossad and the relations between the USA and Israel. Another book deals with the power struggle for the Marvel Comics company .
