Dana Ghia

Dana Ghia (actually Felicita Ghia ; born July 13, 1932 in Milan ) is an Italian actress and singer.

Life

Ghia began her career as a model and appeared as a singer in a 1953 student play at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan. 1956 followed the television debut in "Primo applauso" and after further training steps engagements for regional television programs of the RAI and the orchestras of Guido Gergoli and Gino Conte , after Luciano Tajoli noticed them. She often worked for the RAI orchestra under Carlo Savina . With her modern voice, she mainly interpreted swing tracks, also on tours through Australia, Greece, the Soviet Union, Canada, Great Britain and the USA . At the festival in Naples in 1959 she achieved a respectable success with the titles "Ammore celeste" and "Primma e dopo", but could not reach the final. Between 1963 and 1977 Ghia was also engaged for films in which she - also under pseudonyms such as Ghia Arlen or Diana Madigan - interpreted roles of modest size, including several westerns.

In 1983 Ghia was seen as a guest on a television miniseries, La chambre de dames .
