action

After five years in prison, the innocent convicted Bill Kiowa is released. The reason for his conviction was his former friend James Elfego, a swordsman with Asian roots, gunslinger and leader of a group of outlaws. Elfego raped and murdered Kiowa's wife. He also deposited stolen property with him and informed the sheriff that Kiowa was charged with one of Elfego's crimes. Kiowa acquires a gun to get revenge. Even before the end of the arms deal, he had to kill two ambushers in self-defense.

From the reserves that a friend kept for him, Kiowa acquired four gunslingers for $ 5,000 each to support his campaign of revenge. He promises them the same amount again if they finally complete the mission successfully. These are in particular the great Irishman O'Bannion, the sheriff Jeff Milton, the greenhorn Bunny Fox and the gambler Francis 'Colt' Moran. On their campaign of revenge, Kiowa and O'Bannion are ambushed, captured and guarded by five outlaws, while Elfego ambushes a money transporter. However, you can still be freed from the other three in time, with all guards losing their lives.

When Elfego discovers the disaster on his return from the attack, he pursues his adversaries. The showdown begins in the afternoon in a birch forest. With clever tricks, Elfego's followers are gradually decimated through the night and into the morning. Most recently Elfego O'Bannion was injured, but was then provided by Kiowa. Here he can disarm him thanks to his years of reaction exercises in a duel and finally takes revenge for the murder of his wife.

All five then decide to look for happiness in the south together.

Reviews

The lexicon of international film and the magazine Cinema judged the work to the contrary: If the former saw a "(b) lutige (n) Western that demonstrates the pleasure of killing", the latter recognized a "(f) an Italo-Western without gossip and mannerisms. ”The Protestant film observer remarked succinctly that the film was an artless and trivial western storyline.
