occupation

Bud, the Ganovenschreck (original title: 'Cane e gatto') is an Italian action comedy with Bud Spencer from 1983.

action

The special policeman Alan Parker is given the task time and again to catch the crook Tony Roma. He usually succeeds in doing this within a very short period of time, but as soon as Tony was booked in, he bugs off again. One night Tony observes a Mafia murder in a hotel room - the old godfather Licuti himself has taken care of a little traitor. But Tony is finally discovered by the mobsters and hunted down immediately; Tony barely escapes an explosive attack on him. He then hides in Parker's car, who is about to go camping with his family. Parker wants to hand him over immediately after his discovery, but Tony tells his story and can even prove it, since another attack is carried out. Tony is allowed to stay with the family for the time being and approaches Parker's slightly faded sister-in-law, Deborah.

When the Mafia even tries to kidnap Parker's family, Parker decides to get Tony away from the family as soon as possible and they take the train back home. But when they are on the train, another assassination attempt is carried out on the two, which they can escape again. Parker exposes an informer at the police station and, with Tony Romas and his help Licuti, sets a trap in which the latter utters an open confession of murder, which is recorded by a hidden voice recorder.

Finally, after a fight, Licuti's henchmen are arrested and Tony Roma is hunted again by Parker after he, contrary to his promise, does not marry Deborah and has already slipped away while standing in front of the altar.
