Silvano Ippoliti

Silvano Ippoliti (born January 21, 1923 in Cagliari , † 1994 in Rome ) was an Italian cameraman.

Life

Silvano Ippoliti began in the 1940s as a camera assistant and from the mid-1950s worked mostly as chief cameraman.

Between 1967 and 1991 he worked often with the director Tinto Brass , and some of the resulting films were shown at major festivals: L'Urlo was screened at the Berlinale in 1970 , and La Vacanza won the film critics' award for best Italian at the 1971 Venice Film Festival Movie.

Ippoliti also directed a few films with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer .
