Battle for the 5th galaxy (Original title: L'umanoide ) is an Italian science fiction film directed by Aldo Lado from 1979 and produced by Merope Film . action

Twenty-five years after the last nuclear war, the sinister Lord Graal has managed to escape from the prison satellite, who is now once again trying to wrest control of the galaxy from his brother. He will be helped by Dr. Kraspin, who developed the substance kappatron, which can transform any person into a willless and docile humanoid. The freighter pilot Golob, who made an emergency landing on Lord Graal's planet, is transformed into such a humanoid in a first experiment and immediately charged with killing the scientist Barbara Gibson on the planet Metropolis (formerly known as Earth ), who once helped develop the Kappatron and therefore is able to neutralize this. With the help of the daring soldier Nick, the attack can be prevented and under the influence of the boy Tom Tom, who is gifted in magical powers, Golob is freed from the influence of Lord Graal despite his transformation. Together they now set out to save the galaxy from the evil lord and to turn Golob back into a human.

synchronization

The dubbing into German was done by Berliner Synchron GmbH . Arne Elsholtz was responsible for the dialogue script and dialogue direction .

Reviews

“Science fiction film that structures its plot using fairytale-like motifs. Bad and good brother fight for power with the help of spectators: the fight is fought in space. All figures are drawn like stencils, the only element of action is violence. That makes the film, which is technically below average, especially with regard to young people appear questionable. "

Soundtrack

The soundtrack of Kampf um die 5. Galaxis (L'umanoide) with the music for the film by composer Ennio Morricone has been released as LP and CD over the years on various soundtrack labels, including RCA Records and GDM.
