Barbara Bach (born August 27, 1947 in Queens , New York ; actually Barbara Goldbach ) is an American actress and former model .

Life

The daughter of a New York police officer who came from Austria began working as a photo model at the age of 16 and met the Italian businessman Augusto Gregorini. She followed him to Italy, where they married and had two children: Francesca (* 1968) and Gian Andrea (* 1972). The couple divorced in 1978.

One of her first roles was that of Nausicaa in the television night divider The Odyssey (with Bekim Fehmiu as Odysseus and Irene Papas as Penelope ) from 1968.

In the 1970s, Barbara Bach was one of the most sought-after models in the world and began her film career in Italy.
