Leticia Daneri

Leticia Daneri (born October 18, 1934 in Rosario / Santa Fe ) is an Argentine Cantautora .

Daneri graduated with honors from the Instituto Superior Internacional de Relaciones Públicas in 1968 with a degree in social sciences . After the early death of her husband, she went to Switzerland, where she worked as a psychotherapist and also performed in small bars in Montreux and Lausanne. In 1971 she began her career as a professional musician. As a member of the group Música de Buenos Aires, she took part in performances of Ariel Ramírez ' Misa Criolla in Europe. In the next few years she appeared as a soloist in France, Germany and Switzerland.

In 1975 Daneri returned to Argentina and took over the position of PR manager in her family's company, and later became director. In addition, she continued her career as a musician. In 1976 she completed her vocal training in Buenos Aires and in 1978 she appeared in the Recital x 3 program in Mar del Plata with Osvaldo Piro and Facundo Cabral . In 1979 she worked with Virgilio Expósito in Punta del Mar and in 12981 went on a concert tour through Brazil.

In the musical comedy El Diluvio que viene she appeared in Buenos Aires alongside José Trelles . In the program Poesía, canción 84 she sang songs based on texts by Beatriz Schaeffer Peña , and in 1986 she appeared in the Café Mozart in the program De heroínas y cancionistas under the direction of Santiago Doria . She produced a bimonthly television series for Canal 5 in Rosario and founded the group Escena 75 , with which she debuted in 1987.

In 1987 she sang at the Teatro San Martín in the Historia del Vals with Lito Valle and his orchestra. In 1989 A vestirse de colores was released , an album with his own songs, arranged by Oscar Cardozo Ocampo . In 1991 she toured Uruguay, where she was named La Mejor Cantante Femenina . In 1994 she made TV appearances in France, Italy, Spain and Germany. In 1998 Daneri celebrated her 25th anniversary as a singer at the Teatro General San Martin .
