The Dangerous Toys were an American hard rock and metal band formed in Austin , Texas in 1987 . Her greatest success was the debut album Dangerous Toys , which was certified in 1989 in the USA with gold for more than 500,000 units sold.
Band history
The Dangerous Toys were founded in 1987 in Austin, Texas by the Watchtower - singer Jason McMaster, the guitarist Scott Dalhover and Danny Aaron, Mark Geary ( bass ) and Mike Watson ( drums ). In 1989 her self-titled debut album was released on the major label Columbia Records , it achieved gold status and was listed at number 65 on the Billboard 200 . Hellacious Acres followed two years later, reaching number 67 but no longer achieving certification. The band lost their contract with Columbia and guitarist Danny Aaron left the group before their third album Pissed . After another founding member left with Mike Watson in 1995, Dangerous Toys disbanded after the fourth studio album The R * tist 4 * merly Known as Dangerous Toys (1995) at the end of the 1990s. A live album was released in 1999 with the title Vitamins and Crash Helmets Tour - Greatest Hits Live , in the following years the group occasionally reformed itself for a few selected live performances.
