Daniel Åberg (* 1975 in Sandviken ) is a Swedish writer , blogger , culture and technology journalist .

Life

At the age of seven, Åberg and his family moved to Kungsgården, which is about ten kilometers west of Sandviken. After completing his military service in Sollefteå , he began studying literature, English and political science at Uppsala University in 1995 . He graduated from university with a degree in literary studies. In 1999 he went to Stockholm , where he lives today, and studied journalism at Stockholm University . He has had a second home in Berlin since autumn 2010 . Between May 22, 2000 and February 28, 2011 he worked for the news agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå and since 2004 as a culture and entertainment reporter . He has been a freelancer since March 1, 2011 .

His journalistic work can be found in the magazine Internetworld , the newspapers Upsala Nya Tidning , Arbetaren and Norrbottens-Kuriren as well as Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå . His debut novel Dannyboy & kärleken was published in 2005. His second novel Vi har redan says hej då was published in 2010. Åberg also worked on the anthology Röster i Gästrikland , published in 2006.
