Daniel Bröckerhoff (* 1978 in Duisburg ) is a German journalist and moderator .

Life

Daniel Bröckerhoff grew up in Duisburg as the son of a German and a Paraguayan . After graduating from high school, he studied folklore and German at the University of Hamburg from 2002 to 2007 and then attended the RTL journalism school in Cologne from 2007 to 2009 . He has been working as a freelance journalist since 2009, and since 2011 exclusively for public broadcasters . From 2010 he directed ZDF.reporter on the road . In addition, from 2011 he worked as an author for the media magazine Zapp of the NDR and from 2011 as an on-air reporter for the talk report Klub Konkret of the station EinsPlus . Since May 18, 2015, he alternated with Hanna Zimmermann to present the ZDF news magazine heute + until the program was discontinued. In addition, Bröckerhoff works as an author for the documentary format ZDFzoom .

He lives in Hamburg with his partner and children.
