Daniel Dubois (* 6. September 1997 in Greenwich , London , UK ) is a British boxer in the heavyweight division and currently undefeated. He is trained and managed by Martin Bowers and is under contract with Frank Warren .

After numerous amateur fights , Dubois first wanted to take part in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo - but then decided to start a career with the professionals .

Professional career

The left-hander began his professional career in 2017 . Dubois fought his first two fights in April of that year and won against his compatriot Marcus Kelly and against the Cameroonian Blaise Yepmou by technical knockout. The following month he defeated David Howe by classic knockout in the first round. Just a good six weeks later, Dubois boxed against Uruguayan Mauricio Barragan (15-1-0) in a 10-round battle for the vacant WBC junior world championship and also won here by classic knockout.

Dubois was also able to secure the vacant Southern Area title of the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) in September 2017 against AJ Carter with a win by TKo. On December 9, 2017, he won against Dorian Darch by technical knockout in the 2nd round.

Against DL Jones, Dubois defended his Southern Area belt prematurely in a fight that was scheduled to last 10 rounds at The O2 Arena in London at the end of February 2018 . On June 23 of the same year he beat Tom Little for the vacant English championship of BBBofC. In October of the same year he won over the American Kevin Johnson by unanimous decision.
