Daniel Hermansson (born April 3, 1982 in Borlänge ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Almtuna IS in HockeyAllsvenskan since 2011 .
Career
Daniel Hermansson began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the Swedish first division club Leksands IF , for whose professional team he made his Elitserien debut in the 2000/01 season , scoring one goal in 20 games and providing two assists. With his team, the attacker succeeded in direct promotion in the following season, but the right-handed shooter spent most of the 2002/03 season in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan at IFK Arboga and was only four times for Leksands in the Swedish top division on the ice.
In the summer of 2004 Hermansson signed with the second division Skellefteå AIK , which he left after a year to play for his ex-club and their league rivals, IFK Arboga. After successfully staying up in the 2004/05 season with Arboga, he began the following season there before moving to Brynäs IF from the Elitserien during the year , for which he played until December 2009. Subsequently, the attacker was committed by Leksands IF from HockeyAllsvenskan, with whom he failed at the end of the 2009/10 season in the Kvalserien on promotion to the Elitserien. Hermansson, who was one of the team's best scorers at Leksands, was awarded a contract for the 2011/12 season by Almtuna IS in March 2011 .
International
For Sweden , Hermansson took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2000 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2002 .
