Daniel Kaiser (composer)

Daniel Michael Kaiser (* 1976 in Hamm as Daniel Michael Dickmeis ) is a German film composer .

Life

Daniel Dickmeis was trained in piano and percussion at a young age and was active as an electric bassist. From 1996 to 2002 he completed a percussion degree at the Detmold University of Music . At that time the first film music compositions were made, here initially for short films. From 2003 a two-year engagement as a percussionist at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven followed . From 2005 to 2009 she studied film music composition at the film academy "Konrad Wolf" in Babelsberg . Since that time he has been active as a composer, mainly for television films and radio plays. After his marriage, he no longer had the last name Dickmeis, but Kaiser. With this name he appears for the first time in the opening credits of the crime scene: Free Land .
