He has been described in the British press as "the man who made tango seriously cool" . His texts are written in Lunfardo , the “crooks language” of Buenos Aires - they deal with the absurdities of his barrios , serial killers ( Pequeño paria ) or pickpockets. He interprets the pieces in a style that again leads to contemporary tango. The critic Jörn Kitzhöfer comments: “In the past, many reviewers drew a comparison between Melingos and Tom Waits ; with Anda, however, this musician acts more like a time-traveling, dreaming vagabond who reads and reinterprets what is known and buried on the way. "

Quote

“Without pain, you never even think about asking yourself the questions to which you are looking for the answers. Of course, both are also closely related, suffering and tango culture and the topos of falling in love, of desamor, which is very closely related to tango [...]. I also find joy in suffering. The pain makes me happy. "
