Daniel Paunier

Daniel Paunier (born April 5, 1936 in Geneva ; resident in Avusy ) is a Swiss antiquarian .

Paunier studied at the University of Geneva , where he received his doctorate in 1978 after teaching for around 20 years as a secondary school teacher. From 1978 to 2001 he was Professor of Archeology at the University of Lausanne . In 1990 he received an honorary doctorate from Tours University .
