Daniel Radmann (born March 26, 1978 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a former German hockey player .

Career

Radmann started his career at the hockey club VfL Bad Kreuznach . There he was appointed to the Rhineland-Palatinate selection at a young age by the then regional coach Heiner Dopp . In 1994 Radmann took part as a member of the U16 at the European Championships in Edinburgh , where the team won the bronze medal. Then Radmann was called up by Berthold Rauth in the U18 national team, with which he reached 3rd place in Santander in 1995 . This was followed by assignments in the U18 and U21 national teams under the coaches Forstner and Peters. In 1996 Radmann took part in the Youth Olympics in London as a silver medalist. In 1996 he ended his international career as a result of difficulties with the coaching team around Bernhard Peters. Daniel Radmann completed 59 international matches in the dress of the DHB team .

As a Bundesliga player, he joined the 1st men's team at Dürkheimer HC in 1995 . In 1995 he won the German A-Youth Championship and in the same year the DHB Cup with the men of Dürkheimer HC and qualified for the European Cup in The Hague and was cup winner. In 1997, Radmann moved to the Rüsselsheimer Ruder-Klub 08 under the direction of the then women's national coach Berti Rauth and finished the season third in the German championships. Radmann played in Rüsselsheim for two years before joining HC Luxemburg . Several stations followed and a. at his home club in Bad Kreuznach and in Brussels . In 2003/2004 Radmann played one more indoor season under Rüdiger Hänel at THV in Bonn in the second Bundesliga West as the end of his career.

After his active time, Daniel Radmann worked as a coach for various youth and men's teams, which he only followed on a small scale.

Today Daniel Radmann works as a plumber and heating engineer and freelance lecturer for management (HWK) and is married to Martina Radmann , a former hockey Bundesliga player (Dürkheimer HC, VfL Bad Kreuznach). The two have three children.

In 2013, Daniel Radmann reached 5th place in the German championship for heating engineers.
