history
The Bonn Tennis and Hockey Club (BTHV) is a club with around 1700 members for tennis , hockey and rugby in Bonn . It was created in 1919 through the merger of the Bonn Hockey Club (BHC), founded in 1903, and the Lawn Tennis Club Bonn . The BHC was one of the oldest hockey clubs in Germany and was instrumental in founding the German Hockey Federation on December 31, 1909 in Bonn.
Current
A total of 1,600 members, including 500 children and young people, are active in 25 hockey and 27 tennis teams of different levels. The facility with 15 tennis courts, a four-field tennis hall, an artificial hockey field, a natural grass field and a hockey hall is located between Bonn city center and Bad Godesberg on Christian-Miesen-Straße. The association is based in the Dottendorf district .
hockey
In 1911 and 1913, the BHC won the Silver Shield , the oldest German hockey competition. Since the 2004/2005 season the men have been playing in the 2nd Bundesliga hall again, on the field in the regional league. In the 1998/1999 season the team played in the Bundesliga for one year. The 1st women's team is currently (2013/14) playing indoors in the regional league and on the field in the 2nd Bundesliga North. The 1st men's team plays in the 2nd Bundesliga hall and on the Regional League field.

The men's team plays in the indoor round in the 2nd association league and in the field round in the upper league. The BTHV women in the hall and on the field in the 1st Association League.
