Daniel Schöpf (born January 9, 1990 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

society

Schöpf began his career in 1998 in the youth team of SV Gerasdorf / Stammersdorf . In 2004 he moved to the Frank Stronach Academy of FK Austria Wien , where he also worked as a cooperation player for SV Wienerberg in 2007 . On August 1, 2008, he made his debut for the Austria Wien Amateurs in the game against FC Lustenau 07 in the First League , for which he completed a total of 33 games.

In the summer of 2013 he moved back to the Bundesliga and signed with SC Wiener Neustadt . After two seasons he was signed by the German regional division SSV Jahn Regensburg . With Regensburg he rose as a champion in the 3rd professional league . After the 2016/17 season, he left Regensburg.

In January 2018 he returned to Austria, where he joined the fourth-class SV Stripfing . For the 2018/19 season he moved to the second division club Floridsdorfer AC . He left the FAC after the 2018/19 season. After a season without a club, he moved to the fifth-class SC Wolkersdorf for the 2020/21 season .

Schöpf usually plays in midfield , but has also been used as a right defender .

National team

He played his only international match so far for the Austrian U-19 national team against England in the Victoria Park Stadium, which the young Austrian footballers lost 2-0.
