Daniela Beihl

Daniela Beihl (born December 8, 1984 in Rahden ) is a German politician from the East Westphalian city ​​of Espelkamp . She has been a member of the FDP in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament since June 27, 2019 .

Life

Beihl grew up in the Espelkamp village of Isenstedt . She passed her A-levels at the Söderblom-Gymnasium in Espelkamp and then spent a year as an au pair in Vicenza . Beihl then studied political and media sciences at Bielefeld University and graduated with a master's degree. After completing her studies, she initially worked as a scientific consultant in the Lower Saxony state parliament . Since 2015 she has worked as the office manager of the FDP member of the state parliament Marc Lürbke .

Political career

Beihl joined the FDP in 2006 . She is currently deputy district chairman of the FDP in the Minden-Lübbecke district . In terms of local politics, she was an expert citizen in the Espelkamp sports committee . In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , she ran in the state electoral district of Minden-Lübbecke I , where she received 6.1% of the first votes, and ranked 31st on her party's state list. In doing so, she initially missed her entry into parliament. On June 27, 2019, she replaced Moritz Körner , who had been elected to the European Parliament, in the state parliament.
