Daniil Jurjewitsch Mowe , also Daniil Move ( Russian Даниил Юрьевич Мове ; born December 11, 1985 in Moscow ) is a Russian automobile racing driver . From 2007 to 2013 he competed in Formula Renault 3.5 .

Career

Mowe began his career in formula racing in 2004 in Formula RUS , in which he immediately won the runner-up title behind Sergei Afanassjew . Then Mowe switched to the Russian Formula 1600 in 2005 , in which he finished twelfth overall. He also started in a race in the 3000 Pro Series , the predecessor series of the international Formula Master . In 2006 he stayed in the series, now unnamed in F3000 International Masters, and took part in the first half of the season. With a third place as the best result, he finished 17th overall at the end of the season.

In 2007 Mowe moved to Formula Renault 3.5 for the Interwetten Racing championship team , where he became a teammate of the Mexican Salvador Durán . Mowe scored no points and finished 29th overall at the end of the season, while his teammate Durán finished eighth with a race win. He also started in four races of the international Formula Master, in which he finished 18th in the overall standings. In 2008 Mowe stayed in Formula Renault 3.5 and switched to the Belgian KTR team. After five racing weekends, Mowe, who had previously scored points, was replaced by Siso Cunill and he finished 22nd overall at the end of the season.

In 2009 Mowe contested his third season in Formula Renault 3.5 for the British racing team P1 Motorsport . This season he came third twice and scored points in other races. At the end of the season, he finally finished tenth overall. 2010 Mowe stayed again in Formula Renault 3.5 and moved to the racing team Mofaz Racing , which competed this season under the name Junior Lotus Racing . After he no longer built on the performance from the previous season, he was replaced by Dean Stoneman for the last race . He finally finished 21st overall.

In 2011 Mowe returned to P1 Motorsport and contested his fifth season in Formula Renault 3.5. With two third places, Mowe achieved two podium positions and improved to tenth place in the drivers' standings. Within the team, he prevailed against Walter Grubmüller with 54 to 24 points . In 2012 Mowe again formed the P1 driver duo with Grubmüller in the Formula Renault 3.5. This time Mowe was defeated by his teammate with 29 to 42 points. Mowe's best finish was third. In the overall ranking he was 17th.

In 2013 Mowe switched to SMP Racing by Comtec and completed his seventh Formula Renault 3.5 season. Mowe's best results were two eighth places and he finished the season with 12 points in 22nd place overall. His teammate Lucas Foresti was left without points.
