Danijar Aqyshev
Daniyar Talghatuly Aqyschew ( Kazakh Данияр Талғатұлы Ақышев , Russian Данияр Талгатович Акишев / Daniyar Talgatowitsch Akischew * 25. May 1976 in Alma-Ata , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh economist and former president of the Kazakh National Bank .
Life
Danijar Aqyshev was born in Alma-Ata in 1976 . He studied at the Kazakh University of Economics, where he graduated in 1996 with a degree in economics. He specialized in banking.
From 1995 to 1996 he worked for the Central Asian Stock Exchange. From 1996 to 2007 he worked in various positions in the Department of Research and Statistics at the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan . Between 2003 and 2007 he was director of this department. He then served as Deputy Chairman of the National Bank for several years before joining the President's administration in 2014 and 2015. From August 2015 he was temporarily assistant to the Kazakh President. Aqyshev was President of the Kazakh National Bank since November 2, 2015. At the end of February 2019, he resigned from his position.
