Danijel Račić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Данијел Рачић ; born September 19, 1997 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian - Serbian football player .

Career

Račić started his career at ATUS Langenwang . For the 2011/12 season he moved to the Kapfenberger SV academy . For the 2013/14 season he moved to SVA Kindberg , whose seventh-class second team at that time had a syndicate with the fourth team of KSV. For Kindberg II he came to 19 missions in the regional league . For the 2014/15 season he returned to Kapfenberg, where he was henceforth used for the third team, ASC Rapid Kapfenberg , in the fifth-class league . In the fifth highest division, he completed 22 games for the third team.

For the 2015/16 season he moved into the amateur squad of the KSV. He made his debut in the fourth-class national league in July 2015 against FC Zeltweg . In November 2015 he was in the Styrian professional squad for the first time against SV Austria Salzburg . He made his debut in the second division in February 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Markus Farnleitner on matchday 20 of the 2015/16 season against SC Austria Lustenau in stoppage time . In April 2016, he scored his first goal in the second-highest division in a 4-1 win against SK Austria Klagenfurt . By the end of the season he made twelve appearances in the second division, and he also made 19 appearances for the amateurs in the national league.

In the following season 2016/17 Račić hardly played a role among the professionals and only made two appearances. For the amateurs he completed 25 fourth division matches that season. After he had also played no role in the first half of the 2017/18 season, he was able to establish himself as a regular player in the second half and made 15 appearances by the end of the season, in which he scored two goals. He also came to ten games for the amateurs, from which he was relegated to the end of the season, however, from the national league.

In the 2018/19 season he lost his regular place with the Styrians and came to 17 appearances in the second division, he also played seven games for the amateurs in the major league. In the 2019/20 season he made seven missions until the season interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic . After the restart he wasn't even part of the Styrian squad. He then moved to regional league team WSC Hertha Wels for the 2020/21 season .
