Danilo Peinado , full name Danilo Javier Peinado Lerena , (born April 4, 1985 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.81-meter-tall offensive player Peinado was at the beginning of his career from 2003 to mid-2007 in the ranks of Defensor Sporting . Across the seasons, he was used by the Montevideans in at least 54 first division games, in which he scored 14 goals. He then played for the Montevideo Wanderers in the 2007/08 season and scored twelve times in 28 first division appearances in the opposing goal. For the 2008/09 season he was loaned to Liverpool Montevideo and played 18 games in the Primera División , in which he scored three goals. After returning to the Wanderers, he played in 13 first division matches (five goals) in the 2009 Apertura . Another loan deal followed in mid-January 2010. This time the receiving club was Club Olimpia . The statistics for Peinado at the club from Paraguay show seven personally goalless league appearances . He returned briefly to the Wanderers, but was awarded to Oriente Petrolero after a few weeks in July 2010 . From the beginning of August to the end of November 2010 he played 17 games (six goals) in the LFPB and four matches (one goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2010 with the Bolivians . That year the club won the Bolivian championship in the Clausura. From the second half of March 2011 then belonged again to the squad of the Montevideo Wanderers. After three or two league appearances in each case without a personal goal in the Clausura 2011 or Apertura 2011, he continued his career in Spain at Recreativo Huelva from the last week of August 2011 . By the end of the 2011/12 season he ran in the Andalusians only in six games (no goal) of the Segunda División and one of the Copa del Rey . In July 2012 he joined Bella Vista from Montevideo and played 13 first division games (one goal) in Apertura 2012. This was followed by three career stations in China. From the beginning of February 2013 until the end of the year he played for Beijing IT , in the first half of 2014 for Wuhan Zall and until mid-December 2014 for Guangdong . At the end of January 2015, he contracted again to Oriente Petrolero. Until mid-May 2015, he was used in eight league encounters with the Bolivians, but did not score a goal. From July 2015, Peinado was back in the Montevideo Wanderers squad and scored two goals in ten games played in the top Uruguayan league in the Apertura of the 2015/16 season. Around Christmas 2015, he terminated his contract with the Montevideo club. In early April 2016 he signed a contract with CF Villa Seca and played for the Catalans from then on. The Club Deportivo Águila from El Salvador signed him for the 2017 season .

National team

Peinado was also a member of the Uruguayan U-20 selection . In 2005 he was a member of the squad that took part in the 2005 U-20 South American Championship in Colombia . He scored a hit at the event.
