Danilo Sbardellotto (born October 23, 1960 in Valdisotto , Province of Sondrio ) is a former Italian ski racer . He specialized in the downhill and super-G disciplines.

biography

Sbardellotto won his first World Cup points on March 4, 1980 when he finished twelfth on the Lake Louise Downhill . More than two and a half years later, on January 10, 1983, he finished third in Val-d'Isère . As a result, he was unable to confirm this podium position for a long time, but was regularly among the top 15. His best World Cup result is a second place, achieved on March 20, 1988 in Åre .

Sbardellotto's best results at world championships are twice a 13th place in 1985 and 1989 , at the Olympic Winter Games in 1988 he was tenth in the downhill. At the end of the 1991/92 season he resigned from top-class sport.
