Danilo Soddimo (born September 27, 1987 in Rome ) is an Italian football player who has been under contract with Frosinone Calcio since 2013 .

Career

Danilo Soddimo began his career in the youth team of Sampdoria Genoa , for whose professional team he made his Serie A debut on April 30, 2006 in the home game against Udinese Calcio . In the 2006/07 season he played two more league games for the Blucerchiati . The midfielder was never able to prevail in Genoa and was then awarded for the 2007/08 season to the third division SS Sambenedettese Calcio . There he managed to establish himself as a regular player, in which he completed 20 Serie C1 games and scored three goals. For the following season 2008/09 the next loan station followed with the loan to AC Ancona .

Soddimo also managed to become a top performer of the club in the second highest division and to complete many games. After he placed himself in 19th place in Serie B with Ancona and was thus able to avoid direct relegation, two play-out games followed against the 18th in the second-highest division, Rimini Calcio . In the two games Soddimo was finally able to secure relegation with Ancona and was awarded to the Salernitana Calcio for the 2009/10 season . After eight league games for the team, he left the club again in January 2010.

On January 22, 2010 Pescara Calcio announced the commitment of the midfielder. He made his debut two days later in the away game at AS Pescina Valle del Giovenco for the Delfini .

At the end of the 2009/10 season, he was promoted to the second division with Pescara. In the play-off finals, the team prevailed against Hellas Verona .
