The Dansam Peak (also K13 ) is a 6666 m high mountain in the west of the Saltoro Mountains , a mountain range in the Karakorumgebirges .

Dansam Peak is located in the disputed border region between the Pakistani territory of Gilgit-Baltistan (the former northern areas ) and the Indian Kashmir region in the southwest of the Siachen Glacier . The mountain forms the highest point of a ridge that runs between the river valleys of Kondus in the northwest and Dansam in the south and east. Dansam Peak is located almost 24 km south-southwest of Saltoro Kangri ( 7742 m ), the highest point of the Saltoro Mountains, and 21 km west of Chumik ( 6754 m ), which is the dominance reference point.
