The Danum Platform is a table mountain-like plateau in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range of the Transantarctic Mountains , it lies 6 km northeast of Haven Mountain and forms the watershed between the Bibra Valley and the Dubris Valley .
Participants in the Antarctic expedition undertaken by the New Zealand University of Waikato between 1978 and 1979 named it after the ancient Roman name for the city of Doncaster .
