The Dubris Valley is a narrow and ice-free valley in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the northern Britannia Range , it is immediately east of the Danum platform .
The team of New Zealand geologists from the University of Waikato , who carried out surveys in this area between 1978 and 1979, named the valley after the Portus Dubris from Roman times in the urban area of Dover .
