The Danville Fighting Saints were an American ice hockey franchise of the All-American Hockey League from Danville , Illinois .

The Danville Fighting Saints took on the 1986/87 season as one of five founding members to play in the All-American Hockey League . A team from Danville had previously participated in the previous league, the Continental Hockey League. In their inaugural season, the Fighting Saints first took first place in the regular season and won the AAHL championship in the playoffs. In the following two seasons, the Fighting Saints could no longer connect to the success and finally stopped playing in 1989 after the All-American Hockey League had previously been dissolved.

Most recently played with the Danville Wings from 1994 to 2004 a team in the junior leagues North American Hockey League and United States Hockey League .
