Danyel Rich

Danyel T. Reiche (* 1972 ) is a German professor of comparative political science who teaches in Lebanon . He works in the field of politics in sport as well as energy policy with special emphasis on renewable energies . Reiche has been Professor of Comparative Politics at the American University of Beirut (AUB) since September 2008 .

Life

Reiche received his doctorate in 1999 from Leibniz University Hannover on the subject of ecological tax reform . In 2005, Reiche completed his habilitation at the Free University of Berlin with a country-comparative study on the subject of renewable energies . From August 2006 to July 2007, Reiche was visiting professor for energy and international relations at the School of Foreign Services (SFS) at Georgetown University in Washington DC / USA.

Reiche is the author of numerous peer- reviewed articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the editor of the book series Ecological Energy Policy at ibidem-Verlag and liaison professor of the Heinrich Böll Foundation .

He is also known as a supporter of the Bundesliga soccer club Hannover 96 . He wrote a book about his passion.
