Dao Kim Bac (* 1955 or 1956 in Vietnam ) is a professional American - Vietnamese poker player from Garden Grove , California .

Career

Bac was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1989.

At the 2007 World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas , he took first place in the $ 1,000 SHOE , making him the world champion of this variant. SHOE is a mixed variant that consists of Seven Card Stud , Limit Hold'em , Omaha Hold'em and Seven Card Stud Stud Eight or Better .

Bac won over $ 800,000 in official live poker tournaments.
