concept
Moderator Ingolf Lück asks two teams questions about laws. Lou Richter and Thomas Hackenberg compete against each other with another prominent guest. You play for one spectator each from the audience who was previously selected. The viewer of the winning team receives the payment of a fine from the “High Court”.
Round
Can you do that ... in Germany?
Lück checks the knowledge of German lawsuits and judgments. Here the question is asked whether something is allowed or not. The teams have to agree on an answer and justify it.
In the act
In this section, Lück shows each team a film from a surveillance camera. For the mostly embarrassing incidents shown, both team members have to make a convincing defense plea for the leading actor. Then it is up to the studio audience to decide which plea was better.
Is it allowed ... worldwide?
This time the aim is to answer questions that do not belong to general education and deal with strange laws and judgments outside of Germany. Unlike in the first round, no question is asked here that is simply answered in the affirmative or in the negative. A concrete answer is now required. Lück gives sufficient assistance so that an answer is basically possible within the short time. The concept of this round is strongly reminiscent of Genial besides .
Cross-examination
A person comes into the studio on behalf of a defendant in a real, spectacular case and is cross-examined by both teams. Using “yes / no” questions, both teams try to find out the case within four minutes, for which the accused had to go to court.
