Dariusz stole
Dariusz Jan Stola (born December 11, 1963 in Warsaw , People's Republic of Poland ) is a Polish historian , author and university professor .
Life
Stole teaches at the University of Warsaw , the professional history . His research relates, among other things, to global migrations in the 20th century, the Holocaust and Polish- Jewish relations as well as the history of the communist regime in post-war Poland . He is the author or co-author of 8 books and has written more than 100 scientific articles. He was a fellow of the Fulbright Program and the Foundation for Polish Science . Since March 1, 2014 he has been the director of the Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
Stola holds various scientific positions and is a member of various political organizations. This includes:
- Professorship at the Institute for Political Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).
- Vice-Rector of the Collegium Civitas .
- Member of the Center for Migration Research at the University of Warsaw.
- Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Network Remembrance and Solidarity .
- Member of the Warsaw Free Word Society .
- Member of the Polish Historical Society .
- Member of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for European History .
- Member of Dom Spotkań z Historią , the Warsaw History Meeting House .
- Member of the KARTA center in Warsaw.
- Member of the National Development Council of the Polish President since 2015.

- Edward Raczyński Prize from the Polish Cultural Foundation in London.
