Wedenina started in Vershina Tjoi in November 2008 for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup . She finished eighth and four in the sprint. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season, she won her third victory in the Eastern Europe Cup in the sprint in Krasnogorsk . In March 2014, she became the Russian Sprint Champion. After two second places in the sprint at the Eastern Europe Cup in Vershina Tjoi at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, she took second place twice and won two victories in Minsk . In the World Cup she came in eight participations, five times in the points. Her best placement was 20th place over 5 km classic in Falun .
