Darren Gough (born September 18, 1970 in Barnsley , Yorkshire ) is a retired English cricketer .

Darren Gough made his test debut in June 1994 against New Zealand in Manchester. As a bowler , he achieved 229 wickets in 58 test matches . His last test was in August 2003 against South Africa . He also played 159 One-Day International games for England , scoring a total of 235 wickets. In 2006 he won the BBC television show Strictly Come Dancing .
