action

Romain (52) is a professor with a worldwide reputation. The daughter of his partner, Sara, accompanies him on the trip to his holiday home in the south of France. The young woman doesn't speak. When the two arrive late at night in the eponymous "House in the Gorse", Romain's partner and Sarah's mother, Andrea, are still expected - in vain. The idiosyncratic erotic tension between the two still has some time to develop. When it discharges, it comes to a scandal.

"Das Haus im Gorse" was a German contribution to the 1st Shanghai International Film Festival in 1993. It did not have a cinema premiere in Germany; it premiered on Bayerischer Rundfunk for the first time in 1994.
