The Dasht is a river in the southwest of the Pakistani province of Balochistan .
The main source of the Dascht is the Gudri or Kil . It rises in the Makran Mountains and flows through a predominantly hilly landscape in a westerly direction. He then happens in the middle reaches ketch called (ger .: Kech), the city of Turbat . It is then dammed by the Mirani dam at the junction of the ketch with the Nihing coming from the west for irrigation and drinking water purposes. Below the dam, the Dascht river flows 140 km in a south-westerly direction.
The Dasht National Park is located on the lower reaches. Finally, the Dascht flows west of Jiwani not far from the Iranian border into the Jiwani Bay and the Gulf of Oman . The Dascht (with the ketch and the kil) has a total length of about 430 km.
