David Anthony Higgins

David Anthony Higgins (born December 9, 1961 in Des Moines , Iowa ) is an American actor and screenwriter .

Life

Higgins was best known in the role of Joe Farrell in the US sitcom Ellen , which was produced between 1994 and 1998, and in his role as Craig Feldspar in the television series Malcolm developed by Linwood Boomer .

Higgins also worked as a writer and performer for the sketch comedy format The Higgins Boys and Gruber . In the program developed by Joel Hodgson, David Anthony Higgins formed a trio with his brother Steve and Dave "Gruber" Allen. The show ran on the US Comedy Channel .

In 1997, Higgins starred in the Canadian comedy The Wrong Guy as one of the main characters. Higgins also wrote the script for the film with Dave Foley and Jay Kogen and acted as one of the film producers. Higgins also played hotel manager Mr. Bitters on the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush and Harry in the sitcom Mike & Molly .
