David Brandl (born April 19, 1987 ) is an Austrian swimmer . He has been swimming for the 1st Perger swimming club since he was four .
Life
The multiple Austrian national champion took fourth place in the 200 m freestyle at the European Junior Championships in Budapest in 2005 with a new Austrian junior record. In the same year he bought the ticket for the general European short course championships in Trieste. This was followed by participation in the European Long Course Championships in Budapest 2006, the European Short Course Championships in Helsinki 2006 and the World Long Course Championships in Melbourne 2007. At the European Long Course Championships in Eindhoven in 2008 he won bronze with the Austrian 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.
