Neithart Neitzel (born January 16, 1943 in Berlin ) is a German politician of the FDP .

Life and work

After graduating from the North Sea High School in St. Peter-Ording in 1962, Neitzel studied law and political science in Berlin and Kiel . After he had passed the Second State Examination in 1974, he was a law teacher at the border guard school in Lübeck until 1980 . From 1983 to 1986 he was deputy head of the Coastal Border Protection Administration in Bad Bramstedt and then head of a section group in the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Social Affairs. In 1995 he settled as a lawyer in Schwerin and in Berlin at the end of the nineties .

Neitzel is a member of the sponsoring association of the Nordfriisk Instituut in Bredstedt. He has been a member of the FDP since 1966 . From 1970 to 1983 he was a member of the state executive committee in Schleswig-Holstein . In Berlin he was President of the Regional Arbitration Court of the FDP Berlin from 2002 to 2009 .

Neitzel was a member of the Kiel Council in 1974/75 . From 1975 to 1983 and 1987/88 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . From October 23, 1980 to April 12, 1983 he was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group.

Public offices

From 1990 to 1994 Neitzel was State Secretary in the Ministry of Social Affairs in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
