Hinrich Schröder

Hinrich Schröder (born December 29, 1906 in Lentföhrden ; † December 30, 1992 ) was a German politician of the FDP .

Life and work

After graduating from elementary school , Schröder graduated from the Protestant faith as an agricultural apprenticeship. He then attended agricultural school and then worked as a farmer in his home town. From 1940 to 1942 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . Since 1952 he was bailiff in Kaltenkirchen . On February 24, 1967, at the suggestion of the Schleswig-Holstein state government, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit. He died in a traffic accident the day after his 86th birthday.

Schröder joined the FDP in 1946 .

MP

From 1948 Schröder was the community representative in Lentföhrden . A year later he was elected to the district council of the Segeberg district. From 1954 to 1967 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . Since 1963 he was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group.

Schröder was sent by the state parliament to the third federal assembly , which elected Heinrich Lübke as federal president on July 1, 1959 .

Public offices

From 1948 to 1982 Schröder was mayor of Lentföhrden , and since 1951 also deputy district administrator in the Segeberg district . From 1958 to 1962 he was parliamentary representative of the Schleswig-Holstein Minister of Justice.
