David Cabrera (born September 7, 1989 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican football player who acts in midfield .

Life

Cabrera, who emerged from the youth division of his home club Club Universidad Nacional , played his first professional game for the Pumas in the 2008 InterLiga , where he played against Monterrey (1: 0), San Luis (0: 2) and Cruz Azul ( in early January 2008 ) 0: 1) was used.

For his first appearance in the Mexican Primera División Cabrera came on November 5, 2008, when he came on a few minutes before the end of the game in the 3-0 away win against the Jaguares de Chiapas . He played his first full-distance game in Mexico's top division on November 1, 2008 in a 1-1 draw in Guadalajara .

Cabrera scored his only two goals in professional football on September 24, 2008 in the CONCACAF Champions League 2008/09 in a 3-0 win against CD Luis Ángel Firpo .

On March 7, 2009, he completed the first half of the international match of the Mexican U-20 selection against Costa Rica (0-1) as part of the qualification for the 2009 Junior World Cup , which was missed.
