David Goessmann

David Goeßmann (* 1969 ) is a German author , freelance journalist , media critic and producer of the independent news magazine Context TV .

Life

Goeßmann studied German language and literature and philosophy in Berlin and then worked, among others, for Deutschlandfunk and the German television news agency (DFA) in Berlin and Düsseldorf for news channels such as N-TV , CNN-Germany and N-24 .

From 2005 to 2007 Goeßmann worked as a freelance foreign correspondent in the USA for ARD radio, Spiegel Online , the media magazine “Der Journalist” and Die Welt and was then an author for a TV production company for the magazines ZDF WISO and Frontal21 .

In 2009, he and Fabian Scheidler founded the news magazine Context TV, which regularly produces programs on issues of global justice , ecology and current political developments.

To this day he has written investigative reports for the TV show ZAPP Medienmagazin , specialist journals and writes articles, blogs and book chapters.
