Play-offs
mode
In the pre-play-offs, the teams in positions 7 to 10 of the main round played two participants in the play-offs in two best-of-three series. The seventh of the main round played against the tenth and the eighth against the ninth.
The first six placed in the main round and the two winners of the pre-play-offs should play the winner in three rounds and in best-of-seven mode.
If the score had been a draw after the regular playing time of 3 × 20 minutes, an extension of 20 minutes would have taken place after a 15-minute break until a goal had been scored. The 20-minute extensions, each with a new ice preparation and a 15-minute break, would have been repeated until the decisive goal was scored.
Pre-play-offs
The pre-play-offs were played in best-of-three mode. The games took place on March 6th and 8th, 2019. The appointment on March 10, 2019 was no longer required.
