The 1974/75 season of the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga was the second season of the second highest German ice hockey division under the Bundesliga . The champion EV Rosenheim rose directly to the top division and was replaced by the Bundesliga last ESV Kaufbeuren . The last placed EV Landsberg , however, had to relegate to the upper league, from which TSV Straubing qualified for the 2nd Bundesliga.

As in the previous year, the 2nd Bundesliga was played in a single track and in the form of a double round, so that each club played two home and two away games against the other teams. The Master went straight into the Bundesliga , while the last placed in the league had to dismount and was replaced by the winner of the promotion round.
