Career

Jaroslav Hübl began his professional career at the Czech club HC Litvínov , for which he played in the Czech U20 championship from 1999 to 2003. In addition to regular appearances in the U20 team and a few games in the first team of this club, he also played individual games for the U20 national team of the Czech Republic. He was also active in the 2nd národní hokejová liga , the third highest league, for HC Most .

His breakthrough came in the 2006/07 season , when Hübl completed a total of 46 games for the first team of HC Litvínov. He achieved a goal average of 3.08 per game.

In 2008, Hübl replaced the injured Leonardo Genoni at HC Davos for three games.

Before the 2012/13 season, Jaroslav Hübl was loaned to SCL Tigers and replaced the goalkeeper Thomas Bäumle during his injury . He played 18 games for the Tigers (ø 3.40 goals conceded / game). In early 2013 he moved to Finland to Ilves .

For the 2013/14 season he signed a contract with the Italian EBEL entry-level HC Bozen . In the following three years, Hübl played a total of 157 main round games for HC Bozen and was also on the ice in all 17 playoff games of the South Tyroleans. In the 2013/14 season he led HC Bozen to the surprising EBEL championship title. Due to mixed performances in the 2015/16 season, the HCB decided not to extend the contract with Hübl. Finally, Hübl completed a try-out at his hometown club HC Litvínov, where he also met his cousin Viktor, and finally received a contract. In addition to appearances in the extra league, he also played with the farm team HC Most in the second Czech division .

In May 2017 he was signed by the Fischtown Pinguins . As Hübl also has German citizenship, he does not burden the foreigner quota in the DEL.

After two seasons in Bremerhaven, Hübl left the penguins and switched to the DEL2 for EV Landshut .

International

During his career, Hübl was on the ice several times for the Czech national team . In the 2001/02 season he played four games for the U20 team (ø 3.00 goals conceded / game), in 2009/10 he played two games for the A team (ø 3.00 goals conceded / game).
