Marco Baßler (born July 16, 1999 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey player who has been on the ice for EV Landshut since the 2013/14 season . Since the 2019/20 season he has also been playing for the Straubing Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League under a sponsorship license .

Career

Marco Baßler began his career at EV Landshut , where he went through all the youth departments and was active in the school league and the German youth league (DNL). In the 2017/18 season the winger played for the first time for the professional team of EV Landshut in the ice hockey league . In the following season 2018/19 Landshut won the championship in the major league and thus rose to the DEL 2 .

In February 2019 it was announced that the young striker will also spend the 2019/20 season at EV Landshut and will also play in the German Ice Hockey League as part of a sponsorship license for the Straubing Tigers . In the following seasons, Bassler will be under contract as a full-fledged player with the Tigers.

International

Marco Baßler represented Germany for the first time at the U18 Junior World Championship of Division IA 2017 . Two years later, first place could be achieved at the U20 Junior World Championship of Division IA 2019 , whereby the promotion to the top division succeeded.
