Rudolf Trache
Johann Friedrich Rudolf Trache (born September 7, 1866 in Dresden , † March 14, 1948 in Langebrück ) was a German horse and landscape painter .
From 1881 to 1889 Trache studied at the Dresden Art Academy with Viktor Paul Mohn and Ferdinand Pauwels . In 1893/94 he studied at the Académie Julian in Paris and then settled in Dresden.
In 1915 he worked as a war painter for the 8th Army under General Otto von Below . The works he created at that time appeared in the war memorial book "Saxony in Great Time" by Johann Edmund Hottenroth, Minerva, Leipzig 1923.
Rudolf Trache's works are u. a. in the collections of the Dresden City Museum and the Saxon Army Museum .
