Marc Schmidpeter (born March 3, 1995 in Fürstenfeldbruck ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EV Landshut in the ice hockey league since May 2018 .

Career

Marc Schmidpeter comes from the Upper Bavarian village , where he began his career with ESC Dorfen . The attacker switched to the talent factory of EV Landshut via Erding . There he made his breakthrough in the senior division in 2013/14 and played in the DEL2 . Since 2014 he has been under contract with the German champions, ERC Ingolstadt . At the same time he continued to play for Landshut in the DEL2 with a funding license.

On November 30, 2014 in the game against the Eisbären Berlin, he scored his first DEL goal. Schmidpeter also scored the ERC's first goal in the 2014/15 season of the Champions Hockey League .

At the beginning of the 2016/17 season he was injured so badly that he was out for almost the entire season and was only able to play six games for ESV Kaufbeuren . He then moved to EV Ravensburg .

International

Schmidpeter played in several junior national teams, among them he was, for example, at the turn of the year 2014/15 with the German U20 selection at the U20 Junior World Championship in Canada.
